Stolen vehicle investigation leads to arrest and several charges for Hospers man – February 26

On Monday, February 26, at 3:51 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested Aydan Joslin, age 18, of Hospers, IA.

The arrest stemmed from a vehicle that was reported stolen in Plymouth County, and then later located in Hospers having been driven there by Joslin.

Upon further investigation, Joslin also took a vehicle from a Hospers business without permission. It was determined that Joslin’s driving privileges were revoked. Joslin also operated the stolen vehicle in a reckless manner in Hospers.

Joslin was transported to the Sioux County Jail where he was charged with operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s Consent, two Counts of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver’s license and reckless driving.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office.
