“Go Buckets” coming soon to every Sioux County School classroom

We continue to work on the first ever “Go Bucket” collaborative initiative in Sioux County!

This is a reminder from prior media released about the project. Since the start of the “Go Bucket” initiative in November, 2023, the School Resource Officers (SRO’s) in Sioux County and Sioux County Community Health Partners have been receiving monetary donations as well as items that are on the list that we provided in our initial post.

We want to say THANK YOU to all that have donated towards these emergency preparedness supplies for our schools! SRO’s are continuing to work on this initiative by submitting various grant applications. The completion date of the project has not yet been determined due the grant deadlines and final determinations of those grants. If you would still like to make a donation, refer to our original pinned post for more details.

Please read the letter from Community Health Partners along with School Resource Officers (SROs) of the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, Sioux Center Police Department, and City of Rock Valley Police Department. The goal of this initiative is to get a bucket in EVERY classroom , ALL schools in Sioux County! Businesses may also receive a hand-delivered letter from one of the above SROs.

You can be very proud of everyone involved in bringing this project that started from a thought to reality-Please read and spread the word of a great initiative that will benefit ALL of of our students!
