On Friday, November 9, at 5:25 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 18, one mile east of Rock Valley, IA.
Kiah Vanderbrink, age 16, of Doon, IA, was driving a 2013 Ford Fusion westbound on Highway 18 when she struck a deer on the roadway.
No injuries were reported.
The Ford sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage.
