On Saturday, November 4, at 10:11 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyler Sparks, age 21, of Sioux Falls, SD.
The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop that occurred on Highway 75, two miles west of Hull, IA.
Upon further investigation, the deputy suspected that Sparks was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the stop and discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his possession.
Sparks was transported to the Sioux County Jail where he was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, third offense possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container of alcohol in a vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
