On Saturday, November 4, at 2:55 p.m., the Sioux County Communications Center received a report of a structure fire that occurred on Marsh Avenue, one mile east of Hospers, IA.
Upon arriving at the location, responding personnel discovered a hog confinement on fire.
No injuries were reported.
The building is considered to be a total loss; no animals were inside at the time of the fire.
The Hospers Fire Department, Hospers Ambulance, Granville Fire Department and the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident.
