On Friday, November 3, at 4:03 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 10, two miles east of Hawarden, IA.
Ronald Bushby, age 17, of Hawarden, was driving a 1998 Dodge Ram eastbound on Highway 10 when he lost control of the vehicle and entered the south ditch.
A passenger in the vehicle was transported by the Hawarden Ambulance to Hawarden Regional Health for treatment of minor injuries.
The Ram sustained approximately $6,000 in damage.
Bushby was cited for failure to maintain control.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Hawarden Ambulance.
