On Tuesday, October 31, at 8:38 a.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested Riely Andringa, age 19, of Sheldon, IA.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation after a report of several Sioux County Highway Department traffic signs that were knocked over the in the rural Matlock and Sheldon area on the evening of Friday, October 27. Upon further investigation, Andringa used his pickup to strike the various signs in Sioux and O’Brien County.
Andringa was transported to the Sioux County jail where he was charged with criminal mischief.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office.
