On Sunday, September 3, 2023, at 10:43 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested Octavio Lopez, age 21, of Sioux Center, IA.
The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop that occurred on Highway 10, three miles west of Orange City.
Upon further investigation, the deputy determined that Lopez did not have a valid driver’s license; he also provided false information to the deputy.
Lopez was transported to the Sioux County Jail where he was charged with providing false information and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
