On Tuesday, August 8, at 12:11 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Main Street and 2nd Street in Hull.
Kelly Jansma, age 49, of Hull, IA, was backing a 1991 Chevrolet C2500 onto 2nd Street when he struck a parked 2023 Toyota Highlander.
No Injuries were reported.
Damage to the Toyota was estimated at $3,000; the Chevrolet was not damaged.
Jansma was cited for unsafe backing.
