On Monday, June 26 at 6:37 a.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Cherry Avenue, five miles north of Hawarden, IA.
Viviana Diaz, age 35, from Hawarden, was driving a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica northbound on Cherry Avenue when she stuck a deer on the roadway.
No injuries were reported.
Damage to the Chrysler was estimated at $10,000.
