On Saturday, June 3, at 3:15 a.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested Mayco Martin-Martin, age 19, of Orange City, IA.
The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop that occurred on Highway 75 north of Sioux Center where Martin-Martin was driving a 2002 Mercedes C23.
Upon further investigation, the deputy determined that Martin Martin was providing false identification information and that his drivers license was in barred status. Martin-Martin also forged a signature on an official Iowa Department of Transportation form.
Martin-Martin was transported to the Sioux County Jail where he was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a barred license, forgery and providing false identification information; he was also cited for possession alcohol by a person under the age of 21.
