On Wednesday, May 10, at 5:05 a.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident involving farm equipment that occurred on Eagle Avenue, two miles south of Ireton, IA.
Michael Tiedeman, age 51, of Ireton, was driving a 2004 Ford F-350 pulling a 2012 Convey-All field seeder southbound on Eagle Avenue when he drove onto the shoulder, causing the seeder detach from the vehicle, enter the west ditch and roll.
No injuries were reported.
The Seeder sustained approximately $10,000 in damage; the Ford was not damaged.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Hawarden Police Department.
