On Monday, April 10, at 6:37 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Highway 75 and Highway 10, three miles south of Sioux Center, IA.
Emma Allison, age 19, of Harrisburg, SD, was driving a 2015 Dodge Ram eastbound on Highway 10. Aimee Plasier, age 48, of Sioux Center, IA was driving a 2021 Toyota Sienna northbound on Highway 75. Allison entered the intersection where the two struck.
Allison and Plasier were transported by the Sioux Center Ambulance to Sioux Center Health for treatment of minor injuries.

Damage to the Dodge was estimated at $8,000; damage to the Toyota was estimated at $10,000.
Allison was cited for failure to yield.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Sioux Center Police Department, Sioux Center Ambulance, Orange City Police Department, Maurice Rescue and Maurice Fire Department.
