On Sunday, March 5, at 12:43 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Kingbird Avenue, one mile southeast of Boyden, IA.
Noah Rolfs, age 22, of Boyden, was driving a 2009 Nissan Altima southbound on Kingbird Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle, entered the west ditch and rolled.
Rolfs was transported by the Boyden Ambulance to Sanford Sheldon Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Damage to the Nissan was estimated at $10,000.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Boyden Fire Department and Boyden Ambulance.
