On Thursday, January 5, at 5:53 a.m. the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a commercial motor vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 60, two miles south of Hospers, IA.
Stevo Vukadin, age 52, of Waterloo, IA, was driving a 2004 Freightliner semi-tractor pulling a freight trailer northbound on Highway 60 when he lost control of the vehicle and entered the median. Upon entering the median, the truck and trailer jackknifed.
No injuries were reported.
The truck and trailer sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage.
