On Tuesday, January 3 at 8:39 a.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a commercial motor vehicle accident that occurred on Hickory Avenue, three miles south of Hull, IA.
Bryce Huitink, age 22, of Hospers, IA, was driving a 2013 Freightliner southbound on Hickory Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle and entered the east ditch; the truck came to rest on the driver’s side.
No Injuries were reported.
Damage to the Freightliner was estimated at $10,000.
