On Wednesday, December 28, at 11:21 a.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on 280th Street, two miles east of Matlock, IA.
Timothy Morris, age 32, of Sioux Falls, SD, was driving a 2016 GMC Savana Cutaway box van eastbound on 280th Street when he lost control of the vehicle and entered the south ditch where the vehicle rolled onto the driver side.
Morris was treated for minor injuries by emergency responders of the Sheldon Ambulance and declined transport from the scene.
Damage to the GMC was estimated at $10,000.
Morris was cited for failing to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by Sheldon Fire Department and Sheldon Ambulance.
