On Monday, September 5, at 3:17 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested Marcos Zavala-Martinez, age 45, of Alton, IA.
The arrest stemmed from a report of assault that occurred near Maurice, IA.
Upon further investigation, it was discoverd that Zavala-Martinez assaulted another employee during a dispute at their workplace, causing bodily injury to the victim.
Zavala-Martinez was charged with assault.
