On Monday, March 8, at 1:52 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested Troy Fodness, age 56, and Shelly Bouma, age 57, of Ireton, IA.
The arrests stemmed from an incident where a deputy discovered that Fodness had a valid warrant for his arrest and was at a residence on Cherry Avenue east of Hudson, SD. The deputy located Fodness at the residence, arrested him for the arrest warrant and discovered drug paraphernalia containing methamphetamine in Fodness’ possession. The deputy also discovered that Bouma was in possession of drug paraphernalia containing methamphetamine.
Fodness and Bouma were both transported to the Sioux County Jail where they were each charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
