On Saturday, December 26, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report from someone reporting a possible location of the stolen 1999 Ford pickup.
Upon further investigation, a rural Sioux Center resident contacted the sheriff’s office after they suspected a green 1999 Ford pickup parked at a farm property on Dipper Avenue west of Sioux Center, IA, matched the description of the stolen 1999 Ford.
Deputies checked the vehicle and confirmed it was the pickup that had been previously reported stolen on Thursday, December 24.
The case remains under investigation.
On Thursday, December 24, at 3:59 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of a stolen vehicle that occurred from a farm property on Eagle Avenue, seven miles west of Sioux Center, IA.
Upon further investigation, deputies discovered someone stole a green 1999 Ford F-250 super duty pickup that was was stolen while it was parked on the property. The Ford has Iowa license plates IBL217, had a fuel barrel in the box and is believed to have been stolen sometime within the past month.
