On Monday, February 17, at 4:32 a.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 60, two miles south of Sheldon, IA.
Debra Ver Mulm, age 55, of Sheldon was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox southbound on Highway 60 when she struck a deer on the roadway.
No injuries were reported.
The Chevrolet sustained approximately $9,000 in damage.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office.
