On Sunday, October 6, at 6:02 a.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Garfield Avenue, two miles east of Rock Valley, IA.
Cesar Renteria, age 31, of Rock Valley was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche northbound on Garfield Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle, entered the east didtch and rolled.
Renteria sought medical attention on his own for minor injuries.
The Chevrolet sustained approximately $8,000 in damage.
Renteria was cited for failing to maintain control of a motor vehicle and no insurance.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Rock Valley Police Department.
